Hipper Therapeutics, the startup that focuses on the development and operation of a digital service Hipper to support caregivers and clients in ambulatory rehabilitation of the elderly, has obtained the NEN 7510 certificate! This certificate stands for meeting the requirements of the NEN7510 standard for information security in healthcare. These requirements are in the interest of the privacy of clients and the reliability of the service.

Among other things, the accredited auditor of Brand Compliance concluded in her report on Hipper Therapeutics: 'The organization is laying a solid foundation for the management system, with a lot of attention to the needs and expectations of stakeholders'.

After obtaining the certificate, Hipper Therapeutics is certainly not finished. Hipper Therapeutics will continuously improve information security to maintain the certificate. Constant evaluation and improvement of the information security management system is an important idea of ​​the NEN7510.

Hipper Therapeutics is a spin-off of the research project Hipper at the AUAS, UvA and Amsterdam UMC. Researchers from the Digital Life research group from the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences have been involved in this project, namely: Ben Kröse -former lecturer- as well as Michel Oey and Margriet Pol. Hipper helps with the rehabilitation of the elderly after medical treatment by means of eHealth movement monitoring.
